About TOKYO RAMEN SHOW 2018 (TRS2018)

What kind of ramen can I eat?

In TOKYO RAMEN SHOW 2018, there are "local ramen" from around Japan. And there are "the original collaborated ramen"made by famous ramen shops together that you can eat only in TRS.

In addition, please see the TOKYO RAMEN SHOW official guidebook which will be distributed in TRS place.

Is there any chance that I cannot eat ramen if I line up?

We'll check the number of cups of ramen so as to provide customers who line up with ramen.
When we cannot offer you the ramen, we'll tell them about that and guide not to stand in a line.

Is TRS held when it rains?

Yes, it is. However, when it is difficult to be held because of heavy rain or natural disaster, we'll inform you about the cancelation or change of opening hours on this official website.

In addition, on official Twitter and Facebook, we'll inform you.


About tickets and entrance

How much is the entrance fee?

In TRS, "Entrance free''. You can come in and out freely.

Is there any entrance limit when it is very crowded in TRS place?

Yes, there is. We might regulate to sell ramen tickets when it is very crowded.
And, there is a possibility that people who might get trouble with others (e.g. drunk people) are not allowed to come in.

Does it cost money to eat ramen?

Yes, it does. Please buy a ramen ticket(1ticket:850yen) and exchange it for your favorite ramen at each ramen shop in TRS.

*About topping for a ramen, you need to pay topping in cash at each ramen shop.

You can use tickets(day tickets and tickets sold in advance) in both 1st part and 2nd part, only in TRS place and during the period. In addition, the part of sales of tickets is used for contribution to society.

*Thank you for your cooperation paying in small change(please have exact change ready if you can) when you buy a ramen ticket.

Notes of ramen tickets(day tickets and tickets sold in advance), how to buy, refund, and expiration date.

In TRS place, day tickets are sold from 9:45a.m. to the end of opening hours each day. There is a ticket-vending space near the gate.
You can use tickets(day tickets and tickets sold in advance) in both 1st part and 2nd part, only in TRS place and during the period.

*We are sorry that we cannot refund day tickets or tickets sold in advance.
*Thank you for your cooperation paying in small change(please have exact change ready if you can) when you buy a ramen ticket.
*We will stop selling tickets when all tickets are sold out in Seven-Eleven.

How many ramen shops are there in TRS this year?

In TRS 2018, both in 1st part and 2nd part, there are 18 shops each. So, there are 36 or more types of ramen in total.
On this official website, we'll inform you. Please see the TOKYO RAMEN SHOW official guidebook for further information ,which will be distributed in TRS place.

Please tell about period(dates) and opening hours.

Opening hours will be as follows. Please drop in after work.

1st part 10/25 (Thu) to 10/30 (Tue) 10:00 to 21:00
10/30 (Tue) is 10:00 to 18:00
2nd part 10/31 (Wed) to 11/4 (Sun) 10:00 to 21:00
11/4 (Sun) 10:00 to 18:00

*There is a chance that opening hours above might be changed.

Is the TRS wheelchair accessible? Can I bring a stroller for my child?

Yes. It's a stone pavement in TRS place, but barrier-free. If you find difficulties to get in a line in wheelchair, please let our staff nearby know.

Is there any parking lot/space?

Please use public transportation(e.g. buses and trains) on the way to TRS.


About eating and drinking(food and drink)

How much is the amount of a ramen in TRS? Is there any mini-ramen(small size ramen)?

The amount of a ramen is slightly less than usual.
No, there is not. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there any space to eat and drink?

There are tents with roofs for customers to eat and drink.
There are more than 1600 seats, including buffet-style seats, so please cooperate with others and use them.
Please refrain from long occupation so that a lot of customers can use the seats.

*When you occupy the seat for long time, our staff might ask you to let others use it.
*Please refrain from bringing in foods and drinks from the outside.

Are soft drink and alcohol sold in TRS?

Yes, they are. We'll sell tea, soft drink, canned beer and high ball(whisky and soda) etc.
Underage drinking and drunken driving are strictly prohibited by law.

Where should I throw away garbage?

Please throw away garbage to eco-stations in TRS place.
Thank you for your cooperation not throwing garbage away to garbage cans equipped in the Komazawa Park.
From the point of view of consideration for the environment, we would like you to separate and throw away garbage or leftovers.

May I take ramen to go?

We are sorry that you may not take ramen to go. For a reason of hygiene management, please eat ramen in TRS place. At eco-stations in TRS place, please separate and throw away leftover ramen.

May I bring food in TRS?

We are sorry that, for a reason of hygiene management, you may not bring them in.
*Baby foods for the child are OK to bring in.


Others

When I come to feel sick, what should I do?

Please tell our staff because there is a relief place in TRS place.

Where is the restroom?

There are temporary restrooms in TRS place. In addition, there are 7 restrooms in the Komazawa Park. Among them, 5 restrooms are accessible by wheelchairs.

What are events in TRS?

Stage events and show will be performed there. And we'll sell goods and products. About stage events, we'll inform you on this official website, Twitter and Facebook. We will also promote initiatives that can contribute to regional tourism through each local ramen.

Can I smoke in TRS place?

We are sorry that you cannot. In TRS place, except a smoking area, smoking(including electronic cigarettes) are prohibited. You can smoke in a smoking area.

Please tell about sanitation in TRS. Can I wash my hands before I eat ramen?

In TRS place, there are hand-washing devices and alcohol antiseptic for you to wash your hands. You can use them freely after and before meal. In addition, we pay attention very carefully to stock management under the public health center instruction.

May I bring pets there?

Yes. However, getting in a line or go to tents with your pet is not allowed by the public health center instruction.
In addition, thank you for your understanding beforehand that we cannot keep your pet.

When you come with your pet, your family and friends can line up to a ramen shop instead of the person himself/herself, and eating and drinking are possible only in with-pet space.
